Jeff  is a native Floridian and currently lives just one mile from the hospital in which he was born, Mt. Sinai Hospital (Miami Beach). After graduating from high school in South Florida, he matriculated at the University of Florida (Gainesville), where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, in 1981, then attended law school at the University's College of Law, from which he graduated in 1984. Jeff received his Florida law license in 1985.

After law school, Jeff returned home to South Florida to be near family and friends. He began his career in a general litigation law firm primarily handling personal injury and commercial law matters. In 1987, he became associated with Dunn & Johnson, P.A., a long established Miami law firm specializing in representing individuals in personal injury and workers' compensation cases. In 1996, he formed his own law firm, Jeffrey P. Gale, P.A., where he continues to practice primarily in the same areas of law as he has from the beginning of his career.  

Jeff is an active member of The Florida Bar, the Florida Justice Association (FJA), the Dade County Bar Association (DCBA), and the Miami-Dade Justice Association. He is also a certified mediator with significant experience in workers' compensation and civil law cases.
