Product Liability

Product liability is the area of law in which manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, retailers, and others who make products available to the public are held responsible for the injuries those products cause. Although the word “product” has broad connotations, product liability as an area of law is traditionally limited to products in the form of tangible personal property.

Many of the accidents caused by defective products result in significant injuries or death, the consequences of which can be devastating and life-altering. For those seriously injured, immediate and long-term quality medical care is concern number one, followed by wage loss issues.

Our law firm is experienced in representing the victims of catastrophic accidents and knows how to maximize their recoveries.

Examples of defective products causing injuries:

  • Aged Tires – even unused tires that have been sitting on the shelf for more than 6 years are dangerous.
  • Motor vehicles with design defectives making them prone to roll-over.
  • Poorly designed seat belts that fail to keep passengers restrained inside crashed vehicles.
  • Fork lifts with poorly designed braking systems.
